I live in a pretty good Town. There is not much crime.
I have lived here all my life. I couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
There are lots of people my age that live on my block and nearby.
Some of my friends are only a short bike ride away. When winter comes we go
sledding at the park and skiing at the very nearby Adirondack mountains.
in the summer we go to Lake George and go shopping there it is VERY Pretty.
I love My town.

Hi! I love
L.I.! I think It's awesome, my mom wants to live in NJ, I said, "NO!!!!!" OH well!
I know we are staying here! The beaches are beautiful! I think the water is funny because my friend
got clobbered by it!
"What a great place to grow up in the fifties! At least one candy store on every block; stickball and basketball from dawn to dusk and beyond. And let us not forget the lost art of punchball and curb ball {aka Òoff the pointÓ}. The good old days in PS 91, Creston JHS 79{boys} EBBJHS115{girls}. Where are all those great friends who hung out on the corner of Grand Ave. and Clinton Place?"
"Hello! My name is Beverly Gibbons and I live in Queens. My neighborhood is a very quiet neighborhood. There is a crazy woman down the block from where I live but she does not bother anybody unless you body her. I go to Leonardo Da Vinci Junior High School and I am in 7th grade. I also live in a Spanish neighborhood so there are not much of my color in my neighborhood. In the night you can hear nothing but silence when you sleep. By 9:00 p.m. everybody is in their beds or in their house watching television and in the morning and the afternoon it is still quiet until school is out. And when their is vacation it is still quiet like we are in school during the day. - Beverly Gibbons, age 13
"I live in New York city. I live in Tribeca which is a neighborhood between Soho and the Financial District. I like living in Tribeca because it's interesting looking out the window at night time at the lights of the World Trade center and the Woolworth building. You can rollerblade and ride your bike up and down by the Hudson river and you can go to Pier 25 and play mini-golf. There are a zillion places to eat. My favorite park is the Washington Market Park. My school is PS 234. It is the best!" - Lolita
"I live in Manhattan, NYC. I love New York. I guess because I have gotten use to it for so long. When you are on the outside looking in Manhattan seems like a polluted place where everyone is rude and obnoxious. But that's not true. The people here are nice, and respectful. And for the pollution...there is a lot of it, but we're not the most polluted place in the USA. Remember that:) The thing I love the most about NYC is that there are so many things to do here and so many places you can go. In downtown Manhattan it's like a whole different world. It's like everyday I find something new in Manhattan."
"I live in Lockport, NY, and in the summer in my neighborhood, is really fun, there is a stream down the street from our house, and we catch frogs, newts, fish , and other animals. There is a large pond in the woods near my house, and I take my dog swimming there. I have to be careful when in the woods, there are foxes, racoons, coyotes, opossums, and other animals that might have rabies. But I like to go out there and look for deer antlers or tracks. There are always rabbits in my back yard."
