- Stacey, age 11 I collect Precious Moments. The reason I collect Precious Moments is because they are so cute. I remember the first time I got a Precious Moments. I was eight years old and my grand mother got it for me on Christmas. When I opened my present there it was. My eyes lit up like Rudolph's nose. That's when I decided to collect them. I think collecting something is a very........ very........very neat thing because when you get older & have kids they'll get to see what you collected when you were young and, maybe you can even give what you collected to them and they will give it to their kids. Who knows maybe what you collect now will be past down from generation to generation. That's why I collect Precious Moments I think that maybe my collection will be past down from generation to generation. That's not the only reason I collect Precious Moments, another reason is because whenever I get mad or something I just look at them and they make me so proud. Knowing that all those Precious Moments are mine and I got all of those things on my own. I know it hasn't been that long since I've collected Precious Moments (I started at eight years old and know I'm eleven) but I still have a lot. (27 glass Precious Moments, 6 pillows, 9 ornaments, 1 clock, 1 light lamp, 1 poster, and 2 plastic Precious Moments, all together 47 things.) You are probably thinking that they're cheap but they're not. So if you don't collect anything and you think it is stupid you are so wrong collecting something is great.
