More Links | Editor's Picks | About the InternetHi everybody. The Whirling Webster is back! After a half year of being lazy and not writing any reviews, I have returned with some great websites that you should surely consider visiting.
New York KidsNew York Kids is a website geared towards children. A program, called New York Kids, airs every Sunday night on AM 820, WNYC radio in New York and surrounding areas. Since last year, they've also had a website filled with educational, and quite interesting things for your children to do. On the radio program, they have features with special people such as "The Dirtmeister," a scientist who teaches kids to learn how to do great & creative scientific projects. The show also features "The Mighty Liz," a woman who encourages the reading of books and "Terry, the Taxi Driver," a man who asks kids to solve challenging math problems. New York Kids motivates kids to think and learn.
What's so great about the website? Both the program and the website work with Yahooligans.com! to let kids know about great websites that they should visit on the internet. I myself, am a former listener of the show, and I was very impressed with its quality. If you want to learn more about New York Kids, visit their website at http://www.nykids.org.

This website is innovative and creative -- making children think all day long! Website made by the Creators of "Yahoo!"

The Canadian Broadcasting Company 4 Kids
In my opinion, most educational web sites are boring. Well, CBC 4 Kids is educational and
exciting at the same time. At CBC, you can open your eyes to enter "The Lab."
The Lab gives you the chance to perform many oozing experiments or take a look
at an invention timeline. Another fascinating land to visit at CBC is known as "What's New." At this
section, you can explore classic sports sounds. Having trouble with homework?
Check out the Homework Helper.
And finally, another cool section entitled:"Words!" This amazing part of cyberspace lets children express their stories and ideas about things. All in all, the Canadian Broadcasting Company is a great place for children to learn, read and write.
SPECIAL THANK YOU TO: MIKE CHURCHWOOD FROM THE CANADIAN BROADCASTING COMPANY FOR RECOMMENDING THIS SITE TO ME.That's about all the time I have for now. I'll be back in about two months to show you what I have discovered in the wonderful world of cyberspace!!! For now and forever, I'm David Goodman.
