My Aunt Michelle's Birthday

My aunt Michelle is wonderful
She took care of me
She was like a mother
to only me
I lived with her for 8 months
Till my mama came for me
and she was as wonderful
as any aunt can be
She helped me with my schoolwork
and she dried my tears
She was just like a mother
when she got mad at me
I probably got grounded
once a week
And now she is a year older
But has grown so much more
in those 8 months that I knocked at
her door
I couldn't make her Birthday
so I'm writing this for her
Cause she is a year older
But has grown so much more
