My name is Daniel and I live in Central Texas. I am going to be in third grade next year. My favorite sport is playing baseball. My team is the Blue Jays and I pitch and play shortstop. It is fun playing ball. The temperature gets over 100 degrees a lot in the summer and we don't have much snow. Last winter we had snow 2 times but it barely covered the ground.
There are two large lakes nearby. I go and visit my grandma and grandpa live a few miles from us at one of the lakes and they have a field for us to practice baseball.. I have an older brother and a little sister. My sister is starting preschool, My brother will be in the 5th grade. My father is a cop and my mom is starting back to college. Everything stays green here most of the year and we have lots of trees. In the spring the Bluebonnets and other wildflowers are everywhere and I love seeing and smelling them. We go swimming at the local university whenever we can.
