There is a place in the world that some simply called "The copy of Eden". Even the National Anthem states the beauty of Chile, a country at the southern tip of the world. Not only it is special for the extreme geographical locations in it, but also for the contrast in culture.
I live in a small town called Chiguayante. Certainly not the type of place you'd be interested in, but Concepcion, one of Chile's most important cities is only 20 minutes from here. If you look at the map, I live right in the middle of this long strip of land. The weather is humid and you can tell summer from spring. Maybe a bit cold to some, I love my country, and especially this area, where I was born and I grew up.
The landscapes are awesome, with beautiful beaches on one side and snow-covered mountains only 200 km away. Waterfalls and frozen lakes, volcanoes that make you shiver every once in a while, a 3-kilometer-wide river that seems to be still and hills with views that span the whole width of the country; what else can you ask for?
