Hi! Everyone. I'm First. I live in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. I was born here and have been living here for almost 13 years now. The word "Sawaddee Ka" means hello in Thai. Bangkok is a crowded city, with pollution, traffic jam. I think that's very common for a capital city. I'm so lucky because where I live is in the outside of Bangkok, and has less pollution and traffic jam.
First, let me tell you about Thailand. Thailand is located near the equator so it has hot climate all year round. there used to be many rain forests in Thailand, but since those people cut down trees. There are only few percents of forests left in Thailand. What I like about my home is, we have fruits all year round. My fave is mangoes and sugar-apples. I also love Thai food too. I think there are many Thai restaurants in the States. We have a main river called "Chao Phraya River". This river used to be a very important route for transportation and travel in the old days. Most of the Thais are Buddhist, and so amo I. We go to temples or what we called them "Wat". Wat is like a church for us. I think most of you might have seen the pictures of Thai temples.
Ok, let's talk about where I live, which is Bangkok. In my opinion, Bangkok is not a nice place to live though, because there are pollutions, traffic jams, and criminals. It would be better if you live in Phuket or Chiang Mai which are in Southern and Northern Thailand, because there are less pollution than Bangkok. And most of the natural resources such as trees, still there. Anyway, I love Thailand, and I'm proud that I'm a Thai.
